Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Technician Scheduler to join our Generator Service team. As a Scheduler, you will play a crucial role in managing and coordinating the schedules of our technical team to ensure efficient and smooth operations.
In this role, you will be responsible for handling all aspects of scheduling, including assigning technicians to service calls, dispatching technicians to job sites, and ensuring that all appointments are attended to promptly. You will work closely with the service team to prioritize and schedule tasks, ensuring that customer expectations are met and exceeded. Additionally, you will monitor and track technician availability, updating schedules and making adjustments as needed.
The ideal candidate for this role has exceptional organizational and multitasking skills, with a strong attention to detail. You must thrive in a fast-paced environment and be able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as you will be interacting with both internal teams and customers on a regular basis.

Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree preferred
2+ years of experience in scheduling or dispatching role
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Familiarity with scheduling software and tools
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Working Conditions:
Conditions vary based on needed activities and will include warehouse, sales floor, and external environments.
Some activities will include lifting (maximum 50 lbs.), sorting, standing, and possible extreme heat/cold conditions.

Essential Job Functions:
Assign technicians to service calls based on skillset, availability, and location
Schedule preventative maintenance appointments for each technician
Ensure all appointments are attended to promptly, resolving any conflicts or issues that arise
Track required services at each customer for annual / biannual visits
Maintain accurate records of technician schedules, appointments, and missed calls
Collaborate with the customer service team to communicate any changes or delays to customers
Anticipate necessary parts / supplies for upcoming services
Reschedule follow-up appointments
Ensure that a current service agreement is on file for each customer
Assist service manager in billing completed work
Assist service manager in scheduling repair calls and startups
Contact customers to confirm scheduled services
Follow-up / register startups and new product
