Summary:
We are looking for a driven, forward thinking individual to help establish a solution and value-add center in our Kansas City location. This role is a leadership role that is going to be targeted at EPC and select OEM business initially. The ideal candidate possesses outstanding communication skills, the desire for a career that makes a difference in the world, and thrives in a fast paced, multi-faceted industry.
Reports to: Profit Center Manager
Minimum Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years of age
Bachelor’s Degree or 3+ years of relative work experience
Current, valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
Authorization to work in the United States (without requiring work authorization sponsorship by CED now or in the future)
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with System Integration or Panel Building
Experience with UL508a
ADDITIONAL COMPETENCIES:
Strong negotiation skills
Strong attention to detail and time management
Ability to solve complex problems
Working Conditions:
Conditions will vary between office, warehouse (shop floor), remote, and client sites.
Warehouse activities will include lifting, sorting, standing, and possible extreme heat/cold conditions.
Office activities may include sitting for extended periods.
Various activities will include some travel – both by car and by air.

Managing growth and services offered
Creating and maintaining essential processes for efficiency
Managing estimation process
Managing and retaining all certifications needed
Safety and Training programs
Fully understanding CED's business and managing a sub P&L for the solutions center.
Developing and retaining design engineers, project managers, and technicians.
