Summary:
This position will be responsible for driving the Area of Primary Responsibility business strategy to accelerate growth in the Power planning group (Component Drives, Architecture Drives, Packaged Drives, Medium Voltage). The Power Solution Consultant will be the technical liaison between Rockwell Automation and the distributor, provide marketing and commercial leadership for sales growth, be responsible to supporting the commercial plan for the businesses and take a lead role in developing a competency plan to ensure that support functions (inside/outside sales) are adequately prepared to maximize share gain for these business in their APR. Additionally, the expectation of the Power Solution Consultant is to commercially support the services business as part of its day to day activities.
Technical Competency:
• Articulates and demonstrates core technologies including Premier Integration, Automatic Device Configuration, TotalFORCE control, CIP motion (PowerFlex 527, PowerFlex 755)
• Uses and demonstrates software including CCW, Studio 5000, Web based simulation tools.
• Proficient in using RA Cbi, RA foundations, and other remote demonstration/training tools.
• Understands power one-line diagrams and SCCR (Short circuit current rating) requirements
• Understands legacy products and provides modernization guidance from legacy products to latest technology.
• Uses configuration tools such as Proposal Works to configure core products.
• Provides guidance to customers on the proper installation and configuration of core products.
• Communicate commercial and technical product issues to Rockwell Automation Domain Experts and business units. • Ability to develop an internal training plan for your territory.
Sales Leadership Competency:
• Outcome – based selling experience with understanding of industrial business drivers.
• Ability to conduct quarterly business plan reviews with local sales teams.
• Leading the Disciplined Sales Process in identifying Power opportunities.
o Exceed growth targets in business revenue and management objectives.
o Ensure sufficient funnel in the Power business space to achieve plan.
o Develop and execute business plans to targeted competitively held SI’s or OEMs within your APR.
• Coordinate and manage business to business relationships within the Power Business for:
o The ISN, and our strategic Partners
o Systems Integrators
o Industrial End Customers
o Industrial Contractors
o Equipment Builders
o PC Leaders and Sales Teams
o Effectively utilize CRM system to track and grow opportunities throughout sales lifecycle.
o Work with AIMM Services local team(s) to ensure client service level.
o Transform product and service opportunities into system sales opportunities when appropriate.
o Obtain Voice of the customer feedback on strengths, gaps, weaknesses, and opportunities for improvement in the current offerings.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or Technology diploma in related technical field, or equivalent experience is required.
• Demonstratable knowledge & understanding of Networks and Cybersecurity industry and terminology.
• Strong interpersonal communications, analytical and problem solving, organizational and written/verbal communication skills required.
• Ability to influence and guide team members when required.

Working Conditions:
This position operates in an office environment and in the field at client sites.

Respond in a timely manner to customer and sales requests, including outside of normal business hours
Lead and support customer-facing technical events
